Dr Fu Yuming
Chairman
Dr. Fu was born in March 1957. He obtained his Ph.D. in Offshore Engineering from Brunel University, UK, where he carried on with Post-Doctorate researches. He is currently serving as Chairman of China Merchants Group Limited, Chairman of China Merchants Holdings (International) Co., Ltd., Chairman of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd., Chairman of China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd., Director of China Merchants Bank, Chairman of China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Co., Ltd., Chairman of China Nanshan Development (Group) Inc. He successively served as Assistant Managing Director of Shenzhen Chiwan Petroleum Supply Base Co., Ltd., Chairman of Shenzhen Chiwan Wharf Holdings Ltd., President of China Nanshan Development (Group) Inc., Chairman of Union Bank of Hong Kong Limited, and Vice President of China Merchants Group Limited, and President of China Merchants Group Limited.
Raymond Yu
Director
Dr. Yu Liming , Raymond joined China Merchants Group in 1984. He is the Chief Economist of China Merchants Group and the Executive Director of China Merchants Holdings (International) Co.,Ltd, a Hong Kong Hang Seng Index constituent stock company. He also has directorships in many of the fellow subsidiaries and affiliates companies within China Merchants Group. He has extensive experience in the field of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, port management and construction business. Raymond graduated from the South China University of Science and Technology in 1982 and studied in The International Institute of Infrastructural Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (IHE), Delft University of Holland and Port of Rotterdam from 1987 to 1988. He holds a Ph.D Degree at the Business School of Fudan University and enjoys special government allowances granted by the State Council, PRC.
Linda Tsui
Director
Linda Tsui joined China Merchants Group in 2004. Prior to joining China Merchants, she was Chief Financial Controller and Company Secretary of a Hong Kong listed company. She also held various senior management positions at major corporations in Hong Kong in area of finance, investment management, compliance and information system analysis. Linda obtained her Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honors) and Master’s Degree in Business Administration both from Simon Fraser University, Canada. She is an associate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and an associate member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants.
Tom Behren-Sorensen
Non Executive Director
Tom Behrens-Sorensen is a senior China advisor, business management and organizational development expert with extensive experience in Asia, especially China and India, notably in the transportation and logistics sectors. During his career at A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, of which 25 years in the Asia-Pacific Region, he led their expansion in China and India holding the position of Group Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Group’s activities in Asia until his retirement from the Group in 2009. He has been a foreign advisor to a number of provincial governments in China and is co founder of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China. Tom has been associated with China since 1981 and has been a Beijing resident since 1994.
Mark Daniel
Director
Mark Daniel joined Loscam in March 2008 as Managing Director and is also a member of the Loscam Board. Prior to joining Loscam Mark held a number of Senior Supply Chain roles within Pacific Brands, Coca-Cola Amatil and Linfox. He has worked extensively in Australia and Asia over the past 15 years. Mark holds degrees in Ba Com (Econometrics)(UNSW) and GradDip Acct and Fin (UTS) and is a member of the Logistics Association of Australia, previously serving as Vice President of the NSW division.
