A touch that spans 20 years. Our leadership team comes together to ignite the 20th Anniversary celebrations of Loscam Vietnam. This digital activation marks two decades of reliability, partnership, and growth in the Vietnamese market.
HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – Loscam, Asia-Pacific’s largest pallet and returnable packaging pooling provider, officially opened its latest automated depot in Song Than 1 Industrial Zone, Ho Chi Minh City, on March 19. The facility strategically supports Vietnam’s fast growing supply chain and further expands Loscam’s pooling network capability across the region.
The grand opening drew more than 150 guests including local customers, logistics partners, and Loscam personnel. The ceremony opened with a traditional lotus dance, celebrating Vietnamese heritage and reflecting the values of renewal, resilience, and partnership that have defined Loscam's two-decade presence in the country.
A Strategic Investment in Vietnam
Addressing the gathering, Loscam Chairman Mr. Derek Wang emphasized that the new depot represents far more than an infrastructure upgrade. Mr. Wang shared that Vietnam is one of the most dynamic economies in the world, noting that its growth reflects a character that is hardworking, practical, resilient, and deeply proud — values that Loscam holds dear.
Mr. Wang reaffirmed Loscam’s long-term commitment to Vietnam, noting:
"Our investment here is long-term. We are not simply providing pallets — we are supporting the backbone of Vietnam’s supply chain and growing alongside the industries driving this country forward."
Furthermore, Mr. Wang highlighted the new depot as a place designed to nurture talent, build careers, and foster pride among employees. Acknowledging the many customers present, Mr. Wang committed to ensuring Loscam continues to listen, learn and grow together.

A Celebration of Growth and Partnership
Loscam Group CEO Mr. Daniel Bunnett also reflected on the journey since entering the market in 2006. He highlighted Vietnam as one of Loscam’s strongest growth stories in the region, powered by a loyal and growing customer base.
Drawing on this milestone moment, Daniel emphasized that the opening of the new Song Than automated depot is both a celebration of long-standing partnerships and a strong signal of Loscam’s confidence in Vietnam’s supply chain potential. Explaining that the new facility ensures Loscam is well-positioned to grow with customers while expanding its product and services offerings over time.
Ms. Hoa Do, General Manager of Loscam Vietnam, further emphasized the local impact of the expansion, stating: “This is a proud milestone for our Vietnam team. Over the past 20 years, we’ve grown alongside our customers and partners, and we truly appreciate the trust they’ve placed in us. This new depot is our commitment to continue supporting them — better, faster, and more reliably.”

Operational Excellence: Advanced Automation & Capacity
The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting and LED sphere activation, unveiling a commemorative video tracing Loscam Vietnam’s journey—from its first customer in 2006 to serving hundreds of businesses across retail, FMCG, manufacturing, and 3PL sectors today.
The new facility marks a major leap in operational capability:
- Enhanced Throughput: Featuring 32 repair tables, the facility boasts a repair capacity of approximately 3.3 million units per year.
- Smart Sorting: The introduction of automated sorting machines allows for faster processing. Currently, 30% of dehire pallets bypass the repair line after automated sorting, moving directly to the paint booth to save significant cost and time.
- Advanced Hardware: The depot is equipped with state-of-the-art sorting machines, automated paint booths, and ergonomic single-repair tables.
Sustainability & Safety First
In alignment with Loscam’s ESG goals, the facility integrates several green features:
- Fleet Electrification: Transitioning from diesel to electric forklifts.
- Resource Conservation: The automated paint booth allows for water reuse, significantly reducing wastewater discharge.
Safety remains the top priority. The depot maintains rigorous internal onboarding and quarterly forklift training, alongside annual external fire safety drills and first aid courses. On-site innovations—such as custom dust collectors and conveyor risk-alert bells—ensure a smooth, safe operational environment.
Strengthening the Regional Supply Chain Backbone
The new Song Than facility upgrades the existing Binh Duong site into a larger, more technologically advanced hub within Loscam’s four-depot Vietnam network (HCMC, Bac Ninh, Da Nang, and Can Tho). This enhancement enables higher throughput, better asset utilization, and faster turnaround times—key requirements as Vietnam’s supply chains grow in complexity and volume. For customers, this means improved service reliability, more responsive asset availability, and greater flexibility to scale pooling volumes with business growth.
